Description
Spectrum™ Chemical Formic Acid, 96 Percent, Reagent, ACS , also known as methanoic acid, occurs naturally in ant venom. One of its biggest uses is as a preservative agent in livestock feed. It is equally used in the production of leather goods. In the lab it is used as a source of formyl or hydride ion.
