Environmental Sampling Bottle Closures
Designed to serve as leak-proof, spill-proof caps for glass environmental sample bottles, vials, jugs and jars, environmental sampling bottle closures feature either a closed or open top cap. Environmental sample bottle closures are generally manufactured to meet EPA performance-based specifications for Volatile Organic Analysis (VOA). Open top caps use an insert for complete closure or a septa that allows for the transfer or addition of material without air contact. Closed caps with PTFE liners are resistant to virtually all chemicals at room temperature, while polypropylene caps feature excellent impact strength and cost effectiveness.
