Description

The HL-2000 combines a hybridization oven and a 254nm UV crosslinker in one, self-contained space-saving unit with each chamber operating independently.

• Conveniently combines the HB-1000 Hybridization Oven and CX-2000 UV Crosslinker into one space-saving unit
• Each unit has separate power supplies and operates independently
• Microprocessor controls temperature (ambient plus 10°C to 99.9°C) and rotation speed of bottles (10 to 18rpm)
• Multiple bottle sizes and offset bottle positioning

HB-1000 Hybridization Oven

• Temperature adjusts from ambient to 99.9°C (±0.1°C) via a touch-sensitive keypad
• Speed varies from 10 to 18rpm to provide consistent saturation of samples during washing or hybridizing
• Adjustable rpm knob slows down rotary wheel for removal of samples
• Rotary wheel can be removed and replaced with optional Rocker Plate (sold separately), enabling all hybridization protocols to be performed in one unit
• Protective tray removes for quick, easy cleanup of spilled media
• Rotary wheel holds up to twenty 35 × 150mm and ten 35 × 300mm bottles at once; also holds four 75 × 300mm bottles with carousel kit available through your Fisher Scientific Customer Service Representative
• Large LED continuously displays temperature inside the chamber
• 14W × 10 3/4H × 10 3/4 in.D stainless-steel interior resists corrosion, cleans easily

• Uses shortwave (254nm) UV energy to bond DNA to media
• Microprocessor-controlled UV sensor feedback system ensures maximum energy efficiency
• Preset or user-selected settings for UV energy and UV time exposure (preset exposure delivers 120,000 microjoules or five minutes of exposure)
• Maximum UV energy setting of 999,900 microjoules/cm²
• Internal interlocking safety system; safety fused for automatic shutoff
