Invitrogen™ Human MED25 (aa 621-674) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Recombinant Protein
Supplier: Invitrogen™ RP105458
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (94%), Rat (94%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84792 (PA5-84792. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
This gene encodes a component of the transcriptional coactivator complex termed the Mediator complex. This complex is required for transcription of most RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. The encoded protein plays a role in chromatin modification and in preinitiation complex assembly. Mutations in this gene are associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2B2.Specifications
