Description
Gibco CTS KnockOut DMEM/F-12 is a serum free, low osmolality medium without L-glutamine or HEPES buffer that is optimized for the growth of human embryonic stem cells (ESC) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). It is designed for use with KnockOut SR and KnockOut SR XenoFree CTS supplements.
Consistent results without fetal bovine serum
Designed for consistent performance, CTS KnockOut DMEM/F-12 is part of the KnockOut line of media products that have delivered reliable results for pluripotent stem cell (ESC and iPSC) culture for years. This fetal bovine free medium leads to little or no spontaneous differentiation.
Equivalent morphology
Stem cells cultured in CTS KnockOut DMEM/F-12 media show normal morphology and karyotype when compared to control stem cells. You can also expect equivalent morphology to manually passaged hESCs, even after enzymatic passaging.
Simplified transition into clinical research
The CTS product line enables you to reduce your burden in qualifying reagents during your transition from research applications to clinical applications. Gibco CTS products are of high quality and are supplied with harmonized documentation such as Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Origin, and access to authorization letters for our Drug Master Files (DMF).
