Description
By using 2-mercapto-5-n-propylpyrimidine (MPP) as capping ligands, copper nanoclusters with different core sizes were prepared using a chemical reduction method. 2-Mercapto-5-n-propylpyrimidine finds use as means of synthesizing enantiomerically enriched compounds. Used as an odorant to help detect natural gas leaks. As intermediate in organic syntheses.
